About the owners
Elyse and Blake grew up in Wichita, KS, both heavily involved in competitive athletics. They moved away to Texas but found their way back to Wichita in 2020. Elyse has been a Physician Assistant since 2018, working both as a hospitalist PA and Trauma PA, but after COVID decided to change plans and open We Ride. While in Texas, she fell in love with boutique, rhythm based cycling classes. The inclusivity, the energy that comes with each ride, the sense of community, the heart pounding workout. There is nothing that compares to being in the middle of a class, the instructor shuts the lights off, you feel the beat of the music, your legs are pumping, your brain is processing whatever feelings/emotions you brought into the class, and you hear the hard work of those around you, right there with you. You are on your own journey but at the same time, know you are not alone.
Elyse and Blake are so excited to bring this concept to the Wichita area and cannot wait to give back to a community who gave so much to them.
