Elyse and Blake grew up in Wichita, KS, both heavily involved in competitive athletics. They moved away to Texas but found their way back to Wichita in 2020. Elyse has been a Physician Assistant since 2018, working both as a hospitalist PA and Trauma PA, but after COVID decided to change plans and open We Ride. While in Texas, she fell in love with boutique, rhythm based cycling classes. When moving back to Wichita, she no longer had the escape of rhythmic cycling.

They are excited to bring and give this concept to the city that gave so much to them!

MANAGER AND INSTRUCTOR

Julia grew up in Wichita before going off to Elon University. She’s back in Wichita and excited to continue her passion for fitness and music on the bike at We Ride.

Julia has years of experience on the bike and leading many types of fitness classes.

Favorite type of music: Pop

You should ask Kamri why she became a cycle instructor. She has reason and purpose behind everything she does.

Her view on life? “After my marriage, nothing has shaped and changed me as deeply and powerfully as female friendship.”

Her happy place? Snow skiing with Coldplay in my headphones, dancing in the kitchen to any hip hop with my kids, and reading good fiction with an iced coffee (with so much cream you can hardly tell it's coffee) are my happiest places.

My dream jobs are being on the USWNT or being on Broadway (Of course, both only after being an instructor at We Ride ;) )

Taking Whitney’s class you may find yourself vibing out to some EDM and pop music. When she isn’t riding you can find her listening to country music. If she had it her way she would spend her days hiking in the mountains - it is her happy place.

Her favorite quote is Isaiah 41:10. It’s a good reminder God’s got this.

Fun fact: Whitney has broken both of her arms at the same time before. In her words “Don’t ask - it was a rough time.”

Her words to live by: “There is no greater gift you can give another than to make them feel seen, heard, and loved for exactly who they are.”

Favorite type of music: Pop! She loves all kinds of music, but her favorite songs are the ones with lyrics that carry depth and meaning, the kind that make you stop, feel, and connect on a whole different level.

Her happy place is with her husband and kids! She also loves spending time in my garden planting flowers and any activity that involves being outside!

Maddie is a light when she walks in any room. She has years of experience in rhythmic cycling. She loves good beats, good vibes, and has intention and reason behind each of her songs and moves on the bike.

We are so happy Maddie calls We Ride her home!

Favorite music genre: Pop! And anything by Taylor Swift!

Her happy place? A Coffee shop with a latte and a good book or anywhere with her sister!

Meet Alexis! She is from Southern California and will proudly let you know it! She credits her parents for her deep love of music. When you clip in with her you’ll hear a wide range of music but her two favorites are Hip-Hop and Reggaeton!

Being from LA it’s no wonder her favorite quote comes from Kobe Bryant: "The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do."

Her happy place is dancing at a festival, laughing with her friends and family, or simply being in the sun!
